INTRODUCTION
''Go ye into the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.'' Mark 16:15
Street Evangelists International is a Christ centred, Gospel focused ministry committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ and reaching the lost with the message of salvation.
What began on the streets of Peterborough, United Kingdom, in 2019 through the faithful work of Brother Peter W. Unsworth has, by the grace of God, grown into an international network of Gospel workers and evangelism teams across the United Kingdom, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our desire is simple: to preach Christ, reach the lost and strengthen Gospel workers. Through street evangelism, personal witnessing, public preaching, Gospel literature, Bible distribution, training, prayer, fellowship and practical
support, we seek to help believers take the Gospel into their own communities and beyond. We work alongside Bible believing churches, evangelists and Christian ministries, seeking to encourage Gospel cooperation rather than build a separate church movement. We equip local workers with free Gospel resources and seek to strengthen those who are already labouring in the harvest.
From the streets of our own communities to the nations, our prayer is that Christ would be faithfully proclaimed, believers would be equipped, the lost would hear the Gospel, and God alone would receive the glory.
Join us in taking the Gospel to the harvest.

WHERE WE ARE SERVING
By the grace of God, Street Evangelists International currently has Gospel workers, evangelism teams or established ministry connections serving in eight nations. The nature and extent of our presence differs from country to country, but our common purpose remains the proclamation of Jesus Christ and the strengthening of Gospel workers.
UNITED KINGDOM
Our ministry began in Peterborough, where Street Evangelists UK was established in 2019. We continue to have an active evangelistic presence in Peterborough and surrounding communities, including regular street evangelism, Gospel literature distribution, personal witnessing and public preaching.
KENYA
Kenya became our first established ministry in East Africa. We have Gospel workers and evangelism teams serving in Nairobi and other parts of the country, including Kiambu, Juja, Mombasa, Eldoret, Vihiga, Kisii and surrounding communities. Our work includes street evangelism, university and school outreach, hospital ministry, children's outreach, Gospel literature distribution and support for local evangelists.
UGANDA
Street Evangelists Uganda was established in April 2025, with early fellowship in Mbale. Our ministry connections now extend to Mbale, Kampala, Entebbe, Arua and surrounding communities, where local workers engage in street evangelism, personal witnessing, public preaching and Gospel literature distribution.
TANZANIA
Our connection with Gospel workers in Tanzania was established in 2025. Evangelistic work is being carried out through local workers in Mwanza and Kwimba, with Gospel literature and encouragement being provided to those labouring in the harvest.
BURUNDI
Our work in Burundi began in January 2026 through connections with local Gospel workers. Evangelistic teams are active in areas including Bujumbura, Ngozi and surrounding communities, with Gospel literature being distributed in Kirundi and French.
ZAMBIA
Our connection with Zambia began in October 2025 under the leadership of Brother Emmanuel and other local Gospel workers. Our ministry is currently centred around Lusaka and surrounding communities, with ongoing communication, Gospel resource provision and evangelistic outreach through local workers.
MALAWI
Our work in Malawi is carried out through local Gospel workers and evangelists, particularly in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Chikwawa. We provide Gospel literature and encouragement to workers who are taking the message of Christ into their communities.
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Our work in the Democratic Republic of Congo began in March 2026. Through local Gospel workers, our ministry has reached communities including Goma, Bukavu, Kalemie, Kichanga and surrounding areas. Evangelistic activity includes street outreach, public preaching, Gospel literature distribution and practical community service.
Across all eight nations, our desire is not simply to establish a presence, but to strengthen Gospel workers who can reach their own communities. We pray for more evangelists to be raised up, more teams to be established and more opportunities for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed.
