Calvary Baptist Church is a Bible believing church in the United Kingdom with a strong desire to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed both locally and throughout the world. The church is committed to faithful Bible teaching, prayer and intercession, equipping believers to serve Christ and supporting the work of missions.

Calvary has a genuine heart for missionaries and Gospel workers, supporting those who have been sent to labour in different parts of the world.

Through prayer, giving, fellowship and practical encouragement, the church actively participates in the advancement of the Gospel beyond its own community.

At the same time, Calvary does not simply send others into the harvest. Each Monday, members regularly go into the city centre of Peterborough for evangelism, taking the Gospel directly to the people through personal conversations, Gospel literature and public witness. This provides a wonderful example of a church that both supports evangelism and personally takes part in it.

Our fellowship with Calvary Baptist Church is therefore more than a connection between a church and an evangelistic ministry. They pray for the work, teach the Word, support missionaries, encourage Gospel workers and also step into the harvest field to labour alongside us. We are thankful for this Gospel fellowship and for Calvary's commitment to seeing Christ proclaimed both in Peterborough and throughout the nations.

“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

Four Smiles

Four Smiles Ministries is a Christian ministry with a heart for bringing the message of the Gospel, encouragement and hope to people through practical and accessible Gospel resources. Through its “4 Reasons Why You Can SMILE” Gospel leaflet, the ministry has provided a simple and effective way of communicating biblical truth and pointing people towards Jesus Christ.

Our connection with Four Smiles Ministries has become an important part of the evangelistic work of Street Evangelists International. Through this partnership, SMILE Gospel literature has been placed into the hands of Gospel workers across our growing network in the United Kingdom, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The literature is being used in streets, marketplaces, schools, universities, hospitals, communities and personal conversations, giving believers a practical resource with which to begin Gospel conversations and share the message of salvation. SMILE materials have also been made available in several languages, including English, Kiswahili, Luganda, Chichewa, French and Kirundi, helping the Gospel reach people in their own languages.

We are thankful for Four Smiles Ministries and for the way this partnership helps connect Gospel resources with Gospel workers. What may begin as a simple leaflet can become an opportunity for a conversation, a presentation of the Gospel and a clear invitation for people to consider the message of Jesus Christ. Through this fellowship, we pray that many more Gospel workers will be equipped and many more people will have the opportunity to hear the good news of salvation.

Revival Movement Association

Revival Movement Association has been a valuable part of the wider Gospel resource network connected with the work of Street Evangelists International. With a strong emphasis on making the message of God's Word available for Gospel outreach, the ministry has helped provide literature that can be placed directly into the hands of those who need to hear the truth of Scripture.

Through this resource connection, Revival Movement literature has been distributed by Gospel workers across different parts of our ministry network. English and Kiswahili resources have been used in street evangelism, personal witnessing, marketplaces, communities and other outreach opportunities, giving evangelists practical tools to communicate biblical truth and open conversations about salvation. One of the great strengths of Gospel literature is its ability to

continue speaking after the evangelist has finished the conversation. A leaflet can be read in a home, shared with a friend or revisited later, providing another opportunity for the message of Christ to reach someone who may not otherwise hear it.

We are thankful for the resources made available through Revival Movement Association and for the part they have played in helping Gospel workers labour in the harvest. As Street Evangelists International continues to equip indigenous evangelists across the nations, we value relationships with ministries that help place sound Gospel literature into the hands of those who are faithfully proclaiming Christ.

Our desire is that every resource would serve one purpose: that people would encounter the truth of God's Word, hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be pointed to Him for salvation.

Trinitarian Bible Society

channels4_profile.jpg

The Trinitarian Bible Society has a long standing commitment to making the Holy Scriptures available and preserving the faithful translation and distribution of God's Word. This emphasis on Scripture is closely aligned with the heart of Street Evangelists International, which seeks to place the Word of God into the hands of people and equip Gospel workers to proclaim Christ faithfully.

Our connection with the Trinitarian Bible Society has been particularly valuable in relation to Scripture resources. Through this wider resource relationship, Bibles and New Testaments can become part of the evangelistic work carried out by Gospel workers, alongside the Gospel literature distributed through Street Evangelists International. We believe that Gospel preaching must be grounded in the Word of God. While a Gospel leaflet may open the door to a conversation, the Scriptures

provide the enduring foundation for faith, discipleship and Christian growth. For this reason, providing people with Bibles and New Testaments is an important part of our desire to see the Gospel not only proclaimed, but also placed into the hands of those who have heard it.

Across our ministry network in the United Kingdom and Africa, Street Evangelists International seeks opportunities to distribute Scripture through evangelistic outreach, personal witnessing and practical ministry. We are grateful for organisations such as the Trinitarian Bible Society whose commitment to Scripture helps make this possible.

As we continue to equip Gospel workers and distribute God's Word, our prayer is that every Bible and New Testament placed into someone's hands will become an opportunity for that person to read, believe and respond to the truth of God's Word.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

Our desire is to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ known and to see people come to know Him as Lord and Saviour. When someone responds to the Gospel, we encourage them to continue growing in Christ through prayer, the reading and study of God's Word, fellowship with other believers, faithful Christian living and service.

We believe that every believer should be connected with a faithful, Bible believing local church where they can grow in the faith, receive sound teaching, worship with other believers and serve the Lord. For this reason, we seek to maintain fellowship with Bible believing churches and Gospel ministries in the communities where we serve.

Through visiting churches, developing relationships with pastors and Gospel workers, and participating in evangelistic outreach, we seek to understand the local Christian landscape so that we can encourage new believers to find faithful fellowship and discipleship within a sound local church.

We do not seek to establish a separate church movement or draw believers away from their churches. Rather, we desire to work alongside Bible believing churches, evangelists and Christian ministries in the unity of the Gospel, encouraging one another to fulfil the Great Commission and reach the lost with the message of Jesus Christ.

We believe there is great blessing when God's people labour together in Gospel unity, using their different gifts and opportunities to make Christ known.

“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:3
