UGANDA
In Uganda, God has continued to open doors for the Gospel and bring together believers with a sincere burden to make Jesus Christ known. Street Evangelists Uganda was established in April 2025, with an early fellowship developing in Mbale. Through the encouragement of Brothers Gideon and Johnny and Johnny's wife, together with the faithful service of Sister Mercy, Brothers Brian, Lawrence and other brethren, the work has continued to grow into an active fellowship of evangelists reaching communities with Gospel literature, personal witnessing and public preaching.
From Mbale to Kampala, Entebbe and other parts of the country, our fellow labourers continue to take the Gospel into streets, markets, homes, hospitals, universities and other public places. We are grateful for the opportunities God has provided to strengthen the brethren through visits, fellowship and Gospel resources, and for the many reports of ongoing evangelistic work. With a growing emphasis on equipping local workers and providing appropriate Gospel literature, including Luganda resources, our prayer is that the message of Christ will continue to spread throughout Uganda and that many more evangelism teams will be established.
